Close to all the activities Newquay has to offer (just a short, pleasant walk away) yet located in one of the most magnificent beauty spots in Cornwall. Some of the best beaches in Europe including Fistral Beach (world famous for its surf) are at Newquay. Several surfing championships are held there.

The Gannel Estuary provides magnificent views from the grounds of Chatsworth House and a wealth of activities. Canoeing, Horse Riding, Bird Watching, Fishing and Gannel walks. There is an abundance of wild life and rarely seen birds frequent the area such as the Egret. Also regular visitors are Cormorants, Herons, Swans, Buzzards and Hawks.
